Kangana Ranaut has started producing movies, and her first movie is “Tiku Weds Sheru.”
Kangana Ranaut became a famous star known for her impressive acting in many notable films, starting with her debut in Gangster (2006). After that, she chose to try her hand at directing with her historical action film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, which was a biopic about Rani Laxmibai. Now, she is ready to step into the role of a producer with her upcoming film Tiku Weds Sheru.
Kangana Ranaut has mentioned that her decision to become a producer was unintentional. In a statement, she expressed, “I didn’t become a producer to earn money. It happened by chance, so that I can make the type of films I want to see. I also bring my own experiences to the sets.”
Kangana Ranaut also mentioned that as a producer, she established a rule on her film sets to ensure equal treatment for everyone, including when it comes to food. She said, “No matter which actor arrives on set, regardless of the size of their role, we make sure they are treated respectfully. They are given a proper script to help them with their lines. Because whoever joins the set, no matter how big or small their role, they have invested in the film. So, they deserve equal respect!”
Regarding Tiku Weds Sheru, the movie is a romantic comedy featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur. Shedding more light on the film’s theme, an official statement from the creators stated, “Tiku Weds Sheru is a unique tale of love and passion driven by the peculiarities of Tiku and Sheru, a couple with different personalities, who overcome challenges together in pursuit of their shared dreams.”
Directed by Sai Kabir, the film Tiku Weds Sheru will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting from June 23.
