Four Ways To Uninstall Apps From Your Mac

Uninstalling apps from your Mac can be done in several ways. Here are four methods:

Using Launchpad

Open Launchpad by clicking on its icon in the Dock or by pressing the F4 key (if configured). Find the app you want to uninstall. Click and hold on the app icon until it starts jiggling. Click the "X" button that appears on the top-left corner of the app icon. Confirm the uninstallation when prompted.

Using Finder

Open Finder and navigate to the "Applications" folder. Find the app you want to uninstall. Drag the app icon to the Trash icon in the Dock. Right-click on the Trash icon and select "Empty Trash" to permanently delete the app.

Open Finder and navigate to the "Applications" folder. Find the app you want to uninstall. Right-click on the app icon and select "Move to Trash". Right-click on the Trash icon and select "Empty Trash" to permanently delete the app.

Using Third-Party Uninstaller Apps

There are several third-party uninstaller apps available for macOS that can help you remove apps and their associated files more thoroughly. Examples include AppCleaner, CleanMyMac X, and AppZapper.  Install the desired uninstaller app, open it, and follow the on-screen instructions to select and uninstall the apps you want to remove.
