A few days after the release of Om Raut’s movie “Adipurush,” the controversial dialogue has been changed, and the updated versions are now being shown in theaters. Here, you can find the list of the original and new dialogues.
After its release, the Adipurush movie faced a lot of trolling and criticism in 2023. People didn’t like cringe-worthy dialogues, the tapori language used by the characters, the visual effects, and the performances. Interestingly, many right-wing organisations also demanded a ban on the film because they believed that it disrespected the Indian epic Ramayana and its revered characters like Lord Ram, Sita, and Lord Hanuman. They also felt that the role of these characters in the movie was objectionable. Finally, due to the extensive criticism, the filmmakers of Adipurush now made some changes to the objectionable dialogues.
According to reports, the new dialogues featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon are now being shown in theaters. The film sparked outrage among its core audience, who expressed their objections to specific dialogues that were based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Lyricist-writer Manoj Muntashir faced significant criticism for his involvement in the dialogue.
