During a photoshoot in 1993, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt meet for first time. Aishwarya, who was already a successful model, captivated Sanjay with her stunning beauty. Sanjay, feeling honored to be in her presence, mentioned that his sisters are fans of Aishwarya and thought she was most beautiful girl at that on earth.

During an interview with CineBlitz, Sanjay Dutt asked about his first thoughts when he saw Aishwarya in a Pepsi ad. He exclaimed, “Who is that beautiful lady!” Aishwarya blushed in response to the compliment. In the same interview, Sanjay advised Aishwarya to keep focusing on her modeling career and warned her against entering the film industry.

Sanjay Dutt shared his opinion that being the part of glamorous industry could change someone by taking away their innocence and altering their appearance. He highlighted the intense competition and the constant pressure to look better than others. Sanjay believed that the film industry to much challenging and demanding field that make people lose their inner beauty.

He described the uphill battle of climbing two steps, only to face numerous people attempting to bring you down five steps. This challenging environment, he believed, would harden Aishwarya and diminish her inherent qualities.

Aishwarya’s Perspective:

Aishwarya agreed with Sanjay’s point of view, understanding that joining the film industry could toughen a person because of the many difficulties they have to face. She recognizes that the industry is focused on professionalism and often lacks emotional connections. Aishwarya also agreed with Sanjay’s thoughts on success and failure, observing that the industry can be unpredictable, with people supporting you only when you are doing well.

Even though Aishwarya received offers from the film industry, she decided not to accept them merely as a next step after modeling. She turned down the chance to debut in “Raja Hindustani” and instead chose to act in Mani Ratnam’s “Iruvar,” which was released in 1997. Aishwarya made her debut in Hindi films that same year in “Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya,” starring alongside Bobby Deol.

Sanjay Dutt was worried that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might lose her innocence and the special qualities that made her beautiful in the competitive and demanding film industry. Aishwarya also agreed that the industry could bring challenges and changes.
