Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt to star in horror-comedy movie ‘Royal’

As per reports, Sanjay Dutt and Prabhas are set to appear together in a Horror-Comedy movie “Royal.”

According to reports, Prabhas, who is currently starring in the most expensive Bollywood film ever, Adipurush, will also be seen in a horror-comedy film directed by Maruthi, titled Royal, also features Sanjay Dutt.

As per a report from Free Press Journal, a source mentioned, “The shooting will resume now, possibly due to Prabhas’ hectic schedule, which caused a pause in the film’s shooting schedules. Prabhas was also busy with promoting his highly anticipated film, Adipurush, which has been released now. This film directed by Maruthi will now gain momentum.”

The source also revealed, “Three possible titles were suggested: Raja Deluxe, Ambassador, and Royal. Finally, the makers chose the title Royal of this horror-comedy movie.” Sharing more details about the upcoming film, the source mentioned, “The film is 50 percent complete and features three heroines. It’s a small-budget film with a budget of around 50 crores.”

The portal also mentioned that they contacted director Maruthi to confirm whether the untitled horror-comedy film is indeed titled Royal. However, Maruthi neither accepted nor denied it.

At present, Prabhas is captivating his fans with his portrayal of Raghava in Om Raut’s Adipurush, alongside Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage in important roles. The film has been made with a massive budget of over Rs 500 crore and has received mixed reviews from the audience. Prabhas also has another project in the pipeline called Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. In Salaar, he will be seen sharing the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Jagapathi Babu. The film is scheduled to release on September 28.

On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film is Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie features Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Kamal Haasan, and others. It is set to release in theaters on October 19.
