According to a report, Farhan Akhtar will be seen as an actor in a movie instead of directing Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Jee Le Zaraa.
The news of “Jee Le Zaraa”, which features Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif, has created a lot of excitement among fans who are eagerly looking forward to the project. However, it appears that fans will have to wait a little longer because Farhan Akhtar, who was supposed to direct the film, has some other work commitments to fulfill first. According to rumors, the actor, who is also acting in Aamir Khan’s Campeones, will finish shooting for that movie before moving on to Jee Le Zaraa.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the highly anticipated film Jee Le Zaraa, directed by Farhan Akhtar, has been canceled. A reliable source mentioned to the portal that the main cast of the film, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, couldn’t find common dates for the movie. Chopra had her Hollywood commitments throughout 2023, so she requested Akhtar to postpone the film to 2024. However, Bhatt is occupied with her projects next year, as she has already signed up for Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra alongside Ranveer Singh.
Cancellation Reason for Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa
Despite all the efforts, Katrina also had her own professional and personal plans. Like Alia, she couldn’t commit to shooting for the film well in advance due to constantly changing schedules. Eventually, Farhan had no choice but to postpone the project. As of now, “Jee Le Zaraa” is not happening, at least not with the same cast. We will have to wait and see if the makers decide to revise it at a later stage.
Akhtar attempted to find new actors for the film, but unfortunately, that didn’t succeed. Jee Le Zaraa was supposed to be directed by Akhtar and was written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Akhtar himself. The makers had even released the first poster of the film. According to the source, a decision regarding the future of Jee Le Zaraa will only be made when all three main actors are available to shoot on the same date. It’s also possible that there might be changes in the cast.
