Arshad Warsi Speaks Out on Being Replaced by Akshay Kumar in Jolly LLB 2 and Salman Khan’s Takeover as Bigg Boss Host

Arshad Warsi reveals how he lost many projects and series at the last minute to other actors like Akshay and Salman from Bigg Boss to Jolly LLB.

Arshad Warsi, who is enjoying the success of Asur 2 web series, recently spoke out about being replaced as Bigg Boss host by Salman Khan and as Jolly LLB 2 by Akshay Kumar. Warsi also hosted Bigg Boss before Salman Khan took over the reality show, and he played the title character of original Jolly LLB movie.

What Arshad Warsi said about Jolly LLB 2

While talking about why Akshay took over his role in Jolly LLB 2, Arshad Warsi mentioned that he and Akshay are planning to work together in Jolly LLB 3. Arshad told Amar Ujala, “Now Jolly LLB 3 is in the working, and you will see Akshay teaming up with me in the film.” This was the initial plan: I’d appear in the first picture, and he’d star in the second.” As you know last year, both actors appeared together in Bachchhan Paandey.

Secret behind leaving the hosting of Bigg Boss

Arshad remarked of Salman taking over as host of the TV reality show Bigg Boss after he hosted the first season, “As for Bigg Boss, I was unable to host the next season because I travelled to London for a shoot.” However, I feel Salman Khan is the best willing host for the show. No one could have done a better job than Salman. Salman is a ‘Dabangg’ for the reality show.”

When did Arshad Warsi start his career

Arshad began his career in Bollywood as Mahesh Bhatt’s assistant director on Kaash (1987), and afterwards became a choreographer in Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Jackie Shroff’s film Roop Ki Raani Choron Ka Raja (1993). Warsi started his acting career with Tere Mere Sapne (1996), but it was his role as Circuit in Sanjay Dutt’s Munna Bhai MBBS (2003) that made him famous.

Arshad, on the other hand, recently told Bollywood Hungama that “many projects” he was considered for were given to other actors at the “last minute.” “I know I can do much more, and I know I could have done much more,” he said. Every actor feels this way, I think I am quite underused. I could have completed a many projects. There are many projects that I intended to do but were delegated to others at the last minute. They should not have done that, I realised, since I would have done a much better job. I am therefore underrated and underused.”
