Indian film director Karan Johar has received a special honor from the British Parliament today for his valuable contributions to the global entertainment industry. Celebrating his remarkable 25-year journey in the Indian film industry, he unveiled a captivating glimpse of his upcoming movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘.

However, having completed 25 glorious years in the Indian film industry, he marked this special occasion by revealing a sneak peek of his upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. The event was hosted by Baroness Verma of Leicester, and it was attended by esteemed members of Parliament such as Lord Desai, Baroness Uddin, Rt Hon Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi MP, along with influential British Asian trailblazers, influencers, and community leaders.

Karan Johar took to his Instagram account to share a photo of himself receiving a certificate. In the caption, he expressed his joy and gratitude for being honored at the British House of Parliament in London by the esteemed Baroness Verma of Leicester. He celebrated his 25th year in the film industry and also unveiled the teaser for his film #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani. Today was truly a special day for him!

Due to shooting many of his films in the UK, such as ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, and ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, Karan Johar shares a special connection with the country. His blockbuster movies ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’ created history by becoming the highest-grossing Indian films at the UK Box Office when they were released in theaters.

Karan, who became a director with the superhit film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in 1998, is now ready to present ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ on July 28, 2023. Whereas, the family drama stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in the main roles.
