Netflix has announced Lust Stories 2, a new anthology series consisting of four short films. However, the trailer of this series has been released, featuring actors like Kajol, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Amruta Shubhash, Tillotama Shome, and Kumud Mishra. Similar to the first installment, which was nominated for an International Emmy, Lust Stories 2 will explore different stories of desire and passion. The films will be directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, R. Balki, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Ravindernath Sharma.

The first version of Lust Stories was directed by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee. Whereas it received nominations in two categories at the 2019 International Emmys: Best TV Movie/Mini-Series and Best Actress for Radhika Apte. The film had a talented cast including Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Radhika Apte, Sanjay Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, and Neil Bhoopalam.
