A video of a monkey surprise everyone in a theater of Telangana has gone viral on social media
Prabhas-Kriti Sanon’s much-awaited mythological epic Adipurush released with great excitement today (June 16). Directed by Om Raut, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage. Fans across the country flocked to theaters to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars.
Outside the theaters, hundreds of fans celebrated by cheering for Prabhas and dancing to the song “Ram Siya Ram.” The filmmakers have even reserved a seat for Lord Hanuman, as the director strongly believes that Lord Hanuman’s presence is felt whenever the Hindu epic Ramayana is depicted or recited.
Fans spot Monkey in theater at Adipurush screening
Amongst all this, a video of a monkey inside a cinema hall in Telangana has become extremely popular on social media. Yes, you heard it right.
In a clip shared by a user on Twitter, a monkey can be seen peeping out of a hole in the theater auditorium and looking towards the screen where Adipurush movie is being shown.
Meanwhile, the audience can be heard shouting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ together. Some of them even sang and hummed the Jai Shree Ram song from the movie. Take a look at this now-famous video here:
Fans reacts to viral video of Monkey
Fans expressed their excitement on Twitter by sharing the viral video of the monkey at the Adipurush screening, with some considering it as a divine presence of Lord Hanuman in the theaters, “Hanuman Watching His IDOL Rama ‘Jai Shri Ram’ This Is to Insane,” shared by one fan, while other person wrote, “Hanuman Jii watching Movie ‘JAI SRI RAMA’ #Adhipurush @PrabhasRaju @omraut jii you said for Hanuman Jii ke liye ek seat hona real now (Hanuman Jii came to watch movie JAI SRI RAMA”).
The creators of the much-anticipated movie had declared that a seat for Lord Hanuman would be reserved in every cinema showing Adipurush, following director Om Raut’s request. “My mother believes that whenever Ramayan is performed, Hanuman ji comes to watch it. So, I request Bhushan sir and Anil sir (Thadani, the distributor) that for our Hanuman ji, in every show of Adipurush, one seat should be left empty. I request the producer and distributor, wherever Adipurush is screened in the world, to reserve one seat for Hanuman ji as he will come to witness Ramayana,” expressed the director.

T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair from Retrophiles, and Pramod, Vamsi from UV Creations have joined hands to produce Adipurush.
Right from the first show, many theaters were completely filled, and fans joyfully celebrated the film’s release with drums, fireworks, and extravagant festivities.
It is reported that the film has been made with a massive budget of more than Rs 500 crore, and based on initial predictions, it is expected to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark in box office collections on its opening day.
